Avalanche Studios has posted job offers for Contraband

It's now official: Contraband is still alive and kicking! Although it was announced in 2021 and hasn't shown the slightest sign of life in over four years, the Xbox-funded title seems to have survived the latest wave of project cancellations.

Avalanche Studios posted job offers for Contraband on LinkedIn about a week ago. The Sweden-based firm is looking for a product manager or senior producer for the game.

This suggests that Contraband has not been cancelled yet.
