CD Projekt RED will improve performance of Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 before launch

Nintendo's next console is set to get huge support from third-party publishers. Among these firms committed to the Japanese manufacturer is CD Projekt RED with Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.

When it was announced, the Switch 2 version did not necessarily meet with unanimous approval, mainly due to the machine's limited framerate and definition. The Polish developer recently announced his intention to improve the game's performance before its scheduled launch on June 5, 2025.

In addition, we now know that Cyberpunk 2077 will be displayed in 1080p when the Switch 2 is placed in its docking station. In portable mode, the target resolution is 720p. Framerate will be between 30 and 40 FPS, depending on the graphics mode selected.

Last but not least, it will have cross-saves with the other versions. It will therefore be possible to resume a game started on PS5, PC or Xbox Series on our Switch 2 (and vice versa). As a reminder, the game will retail for €69.99.
