Capcom will punish all the cheaters in Monster Hunter Wilds

The first “Major Content Update” for Monster Hunter Wilds is available for download on all platforms. It is around 10 GB on PS5, 6 GB on Xbox Series and 6 GB (or 16 GB with the high-definition texture pack) on Steam.

As a reminder, the patch brings a number of new features, including the new social space, arena quests, challenge quests and the Mizutsune and Zoh Shia (expert) monsters. A few bugs have also been fixed, balance improved and quality-of-life optimized.

Capcom has also sent a message to players who have the bad idea of cheating. Action will be taken against accounts that resort to fraudulent activities using cheating tools. The accounts in question may be suspended or subject to restrictions. For example, they will no longer be able to receive rewards.

Finally, if cheating is detected during a multiplayer hunt, the quest completion time will be invalidated and entitlement to rewards revoked. The publisher encourages players to report all those who engage in prohibited behavior.
