Will Fumito Ueda's (Ico, The Last Guardian) next game be revealed this summer?
, by Thibaut
The famous Japanese creator has dazzled us in recent years with strong, original, and poetic titles. Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian together represent an essential trilogy on the PlayStation side. But due to the endless and tumultuous development of his last game, Fumito Ueda has distanced himself from Sony by founding his own studio named GenDesign.
Thus, more than six years after the launch of The Last Guardian, the director could present his new project sometime this summer. The rumor is that this game has the code name New Hope. The adventure would take place in a vast jungle, and the player would control a princess accompanied by a kind of mecha. Environmental puzzles as well as combat would be part of this epic journey.
Of course, it is crucial to take what you just read with a grain of salt.
