NVIDIA announces Blackwell RTX PRO GPUs for professional laptops
, by Quentin
NVIDIA has presented a new series of Blackwell RTX PRO GPUs for portable workstations. These cards bring an evolution in specifications, with an increase in the number of CUDA cores on certain models and the use of GDDR7 memory.
The flagship model, the RTX PRO 5000, features 10,496 CUDA cores and 24 GB of GDDR7 on a 256-bit bus. It uses the GB203 GPU, already present in the RTX 5090 Laptop, with similar characteristics. Three models in the range will support ECC, and the flagship includes 3 GB modules.
The RTX PRO 5000 boasts a default GPU of 90 W, while the entry-level models also adopt GDDR7 with a GPU 10 W higher than their predecessors. All Blackwell RTX PRO boards are compatible with DisplayPort 2.1B and PCIe Gen5.
