Analogue has announced a further delay for the Analogue 3D, its console inspired by the Nintendo 64. Initially scheduled for 2024, then postponed to the first quarter of 2025, its release is now set for July 2025.
The Analogue 3D is an FPGA console designed to play the original N64 cartridges in 4K on modern screens. It is compatible with the entire N64 catalog, accepts games from all regions and offers four controller ports. It's priced at $249.99, with 8BitDo controllers sold separately at $39.99.
Analogue claims that its system offers a better experience than the official emulation on Nintendo Switch Online, thanks in particular to the 4K resolution and total control brought by the FPGA. The company reminds that current pre-orders remain valid and that cancellations are possible with a full refund.
