Life is Strange: Double Exposure has resulted in heavy losses for Square Enix

After receiving a critical and mixed reception from both gamers and reviewers alike, Life is Strange: Double Exposure also appears to have been a commercial failure.

In its latest financial report, Square Enix stated that the title developed by Deck Nine Games resulted in "heavy losses" for the company's finances. While we got no figures about it, we can safely assume that the results are not good at all.

It's hard to say what the future holds for the Life is Strange franchise in the wake of this failure, but chances are it won't be a bright one.
