Intel presents the Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake” at Embedded World 2025

Intel has shown a prototype of its Panther Lake processor at Embedded World 2025. This model, part of the Core Ultra 300 range, will introduce new CPU and GPU architectures, with up to 16 CPU cores and 12 Xe3 “Celestial” cores.

The model on display, Panther Lake-H, features 4 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores and 4 LP-Cores, using Cougar Cove and Skymont architectures. A variant designed for gaming notebooks would reduce the number of GPU cores and increase the number of PCIe 5.0 lines from 4 to 12. Production is scheduled to start in the second half of 2024, with availability in the second half of 2025 for laptops.
