The first games published by PocketPair will be very different to Palworld

Last January, Pocketpair Publishing revealed its first project as a publisher. This will be alongside Surgent Studios, which recently developed Tales of Kenzera: Zau.

In broader terms, this new label will let the creators of Palworld to publish titles developed by indie teams, so we can expect a wide variety of games thanks to this new strategy.

John Buckley, who heads up Pocketpair's publishing division, wanted to be clear with gamers. Pocketpair Publishing will not be publishing anything related to Palworld, so don't go and expect any sequels or spin-offs from this division.

"I’m very nervous to reveal our first batch of games. Not because I think the reception will be bad (they are all bangers), but because I worry people will just expect more Palworld. PPP’s (Pocketpair Publishing) goal is to help cool indies get made so I hope you like our first round of games! Soon"
