The indispensable game The Sims 4 has surpassed 70 million players worldwide

Electronic Arts has announced impressive new figures about its global hit game, The Sims 4. To put it simply, since its launch in 2014, the fourth installment has attracted over 70 million players across all platforms. It is quite logically the most-played episode of the franchise, which celebrates its 23rd anniversary this year.

Since its transition to the free-to-play economic model in October 2022, The Sims 4 is said to have attracted more than 16 million new players. A strategy that has borne fruit and has allowed the number of weekly users to increase by approximately 53%.

In short, it can be said that The Sims 4 has a bright future ahead of it. It should be noted that the fifth installment is currently under development.
