The first DLC for Assassin's Creed Shadows will go for a spookier atmosphere

Those who decide to pre-order Assassin's Creed Shadows will have access to the Claws of Awaji DLC at no extra cost. The expansion will be released later in 2025.

During an interview with Gamerant, director Jonathan Dumont spoke about this additional content. In particular, he indicated that the main story of this DLC will directly follow that of the main game's. However, there will be a kind of change of tone, as the atmosphere will be "spookier".

This DLC will also contain over 10 hours of new gameplay.
