The first playtest of the next Battlefield will be held on March 7

Electronic Arts will be gracing us with a new Battlefield this year. To try and do things the right way, the American publisher has decided to invite players to playtest sessions.

Insider Gaming reports that the first of these will take place this Friday, March 7. It will focus on the game's "concepts and mechanics ” and will last around two hours on PC. These playtests are organized as part of the Battlefield Labs program announced by EA earlier this year.

Those selected have received an e-mail with instructions. The test will take place in a closed environment, which means that recording, streaming and discussion of the game will be prohibited.
