Dead Island 2: PS4 and Xbox One players won't be able to host co-op games

Deep Silver has just announced a small restriction that will affect players with a base PS4 or Xbox One at the launch of Dead Island 2. They will not be able to host a multiplayer co-op game. To launch online co-op sessions, these players will depend on those equipped with a PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 Pro, or Xbox One X.

This is simply a technical restriction. Note that Dambuster Studios hopes to change this through a future update. Therefore, this limitation should be lifted in the coming weeks.
