The RTX 4060 becomes the most popular GPU on Steam
, by Quentin
According to the latest hardware survey on Steam, the RTX 4060 is now the most popular graphics card among gamers, overtaking the RTX 3060, which has long held this position. The RTX 4060 powers 8.57% of PCs on the platform, compared to the current 6.87% for the 3060.
The ranking continues to be dominated by NVIDIA, with a strong presence for the 3060/4060 and 3070/4070 series. Only the GTX 1650 remains in the top 10, while all other positions are occupied by RTX models.
Meanwhile, Radeon cards are far from the top positions. Even the Steam Deck, equipped with an integrated Radeon GPU, fails to move the brand up the rankings. The Radeon RX 6600 remains the most widely used AMD card, ahead of the more recently released RX 7600. The multiplication of variants could be a limiting factor for the visibility of AMD cards in this survey.
