Despite all the NetEase rumours, The Blood of Dawnwalker is still in development

Developed by Rebel Wolves, The Blood of Dawnwalker is partly funded by NetEase. Alas, the Chinese company seems to be gradually abandoning all its studios in the West, and so there are some that wonder about the project's future.

On LinkedIn, Tomasz Tinc, head of publishing for the game, reassured everyone. He pointed out that the game is already fully financed and that development is progressing without any major hitches. Bandai Namco is in charge of worldwide publishing, and NetEase is only a minority shareholder in Rebel Wolves.

The vast majority of shares belong to Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the studio's CEO, and other co-owners of the Polish company. Thus, a hypothetical withdrawal of NetEase would have little impact here.
