Assassin's Creed Shadows has a "canon" mode that lets you experience the game without dialogue choices

Ubisoft will be giving players a choice in how they approach the Assassin's Creed Shadows storyline. During dialogues, we'll have a number of options that may have an impact on our relationships with certain characters.

However, the developers will also allow us to opt for a so-called "canon” mode of the story that removes the various responses during conversations , allowing us to experience the scenario as the game's creators wish to tell it to us.

Note that this will have no impact on the game's difficulty or on the ability to switch characters while exploring the open world. That said, this option cannot be changed once the adventure has begun.
