NVIDIA increases supply of GB202 GPUs for the RTX 5090

According to MEGAsizeGPU, a reliable leaker, the supply of GB202 GPUs, used for the RTX 5090, is increasing.

This was to be expected, but production of the GB202 was competing with that of the GB200, whose demand was lower than forecast. NVIDIA is therefore adapting its production to the most profitable segments, which now includes the RTX 5090.

The supply of RTX 5090s remains insufficient, and prices are rising at some partners without any reaction from NVIDIA. Some resellers are also applying restrictions on access to RTX 5080s. For example, the Danish site Komplett is said to have 147 cards in stock, but they are only sold with pre-assembled PCs.

The evolution of production and stocks still leaves uncertainties about the actual availability of these cards for individual buyers so far.
