28 years after its release, Tibia is getting a new vocation

Last July, Tibia made it to the headlines thanks to the launch of a new update that brought several improvements to the 1997 classic. Today, we learn that the MMO is getting a new vocation.
Studio CipSoft has announced a new character class. It's called the Monk, and it will join the four other classes already available. It will come out later this year.
The Monk specializes in close combat, practicing martial arts and using mystical abilities to face his enemies. He can also heal his allies. A select few will get to test the class on February 25.
