Yet another wave of redundancies hits Hi-Rez (SMITE 2)

Last October, publisher Hi-Rez Studios announced a wave of redundancies and a focus on SMITE 2. Alas, things don't seem to be looking good just four months later.

Today we learn that the company will be laying off at least another 30 people from some of its departments, including esports and development. We have no official announcement yet, but Hi-Rez CEO Stewart Chisam has deleted his social network accounts.

As of now, it's impossible to know what really happened, or exactly how many people have been affected.
