Final Fantasy VII Remake, Rebirth and Final Fantasy XVI are coming to Xbox

This time, we're going to talk about yet another three Final Fantasy games coming to Xbox Series S|X. It's not the first time we've heard about this rumor, but insider NateTheHate is giving it a bit more weight.

First of all, Final Fantasy XVI should be announced very soon on Microsoft consoles and would be released around spring 2025. It will be followed by Final Fantasy VII Remake later this year. As for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, it will probably be in 2026.

A port of the sixteenth entry for the Switch 2 is not on the agenda. Square Enix would rather prioritize the arrival of Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth on Nintendo's next machine.
