, by Quentin
NVIDIA has finally published the full technical details of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070, powered respectively by the GB203 and GB205 chips from the Blackwell range.
The RTX 5070 Ti is based on the GB203 chip, also used in the RTX 5080. It features 16 GB of GDDR7 memory with a speed of 28 GB/s and a 256-bit memory bus. Its boost frequency is set at 2452 MHz and its TDP reaches 300W.
The RTX 5070, on the other hand, uses the GB205 chip and offers 12 GB of GDDR7 on a 192-bit bus. Its boost frequency is 2512 MHz, and its TDP is 250W. Unlike previous generations, the 5070 series doesn't use the 104 chip, but has an increased number of CUDA, Tensor and RT cores.
The RTX 5070 Ti is scheduled for launch on February 20, while the RTX 5070 will be released in March. Customized variants by other manufacturers may feature higher power consumption and prices, all depending on their configurations.
