Xbox revenues fell in Q2 2025
, by Thibaut
Microsoft's financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025 are out. The American giant saw revenues reach $69.6 billion for the group as a whole (up 12%).
That said, things aren't looking that hot when it comes to the gaming division. In the quarter ending December 31, 2024, Xbox saw its revenues fall by 7%, with hardware posting a freefall of 29%. Only the content and services section grew by 2%. Game Pass seems to be doing well, although we got no concrete figures for the number of subscribers.
Presumably, Xbox will be able to reverse this trend, thanks to its new strategy of releasing its games on as many platforms as possible.
