The DLC for Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition has been cancelled
, by Thibaut
Last February, at the New Year New Age event, we got an announcement for a new Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition DLC, though we got no further details at the time.
Finally, in a message addressed to players, the development team has announced that this piece of additional content has been cancelled. The team admits to having announced the DLC too early, before they had even begun working on it.
Despite this, the servers for Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition will remain active. Civilization rotation for the free trial version will also be maintained, as will customer support for any in-game issues.
