PS5 players just got Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 by accident

Due to arrive shortly, the Patch 8 test for Baldur's Gate 3 has been deployed in Europe and Asia to all PS5 players by mistake. And those who keep this version are in for trouble.

Indeed, Larian Studios recently spoke about this problem. Users who see their game in version 01.800.000 or 4.1.1.6583053 in the main menu are affected by this problem, and playing under these circunstances could result in your saves, mods and multiplayer not working properly. What's more, this premature update doesn't even give access to its new features such as subclasses and photo mode.

We strongly recommended going back to the version of Baldur's Gate 3 running under Patch 7. To do this, you just need to delete the game from the PS5 and download it again.
