The next God of War could be based around Egyptian mythology

After concluding its epic journey in the Nordic lands, the God of War saga could well be heading to Egypt, or at least that's what insider DanielRPK revealed in a recent article published on its Patreon.

According to him, Sony is currently looking for Middle Eastern actors for a new AAA game. We're talking about the next God of War, probably in development at Santa Monica Studio.

For the moment, it's best to take all this with a grain of salt, though fefore going for the Norse mythology in God of War (2018), Santa Monica had already come close to choosing Egypt. This could well be the case for the next entry in the franchise.
