The Nintendo Switch 2 could be announced this Thursday, January 16

We'll probably hear the last word on the desired Switch 2. Indeed, insider Nate the Hate has said the following during a podcast.
The Switch 2 should be announced this week, probably on Thursday, January 16. However, Nintendo might not show any games right away.
"I've heard that the presentation itself will focus almost exclusively on the console itself. There will be no game presentation. There might be a game on screen, depending on how the trailer is composed, but games won't be the focus."
A Nintendo Direct could follow around February to show the games that will be released at the console's launch.
