Nintendo's domination of the Japanese market is almost complete. We just got the ranking of the best-selling games in Japan in 2024. Please keep in mind that these are physical games we are speaking of.

In the top 15 of this list, we find no fewer than 13 games released on Switch. Only Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (10th) and the PS5 version of Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake prevent Nintendo from having total domination.
