With the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in May 2015, CD Projekt RED became known to gamers all around world. A status that the Polish studio has kept for ten years despite the blunder of Cyberpunk 2077 launch in December 2020.
In a post on X.com, Michał Nowakowski, the company's co-CEO, revealed that around 100 people who worked on the third The Witcher are still around. Some of those were there even during the development of the first two The Witcher titles. This is particularly true of Adam Badowski, the studio's other co-CEO, who was there back in 2002.
Today, over 1,100 people work at CD Projekt on titles such as The Witcher IV and the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.
