Play For Dream Technology has announced its new mixed reality headset at CES 2025: the Play For Dream MR. Based on Android, this device mixes virtual and augmented reality to offer immersive experiences when it comes to entertainment.
The Play For Dream MR can be used in plenty of ways. For cinema, you have 8K Micro-OLED screen that can be scaled up to 1,000" and it's also DTS:X Ultra certified for 360º sound immersion. For gaming, the headset uses Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 platform, precise eye and hand tracking as well as 6DoF controllers. It supports MR, VR and 2D games.
This headset also comes with advanced video recording capabilities thanks to its 32 MP 3D cameras with EIS stabilization, so you can record in spatial and VR180 formats. In mixed reality mode, you can include virtual elements into your environment at will.
The Dream Box can be used to connect devices such as phones, consoles or computers for easy access to 2D apllications on a large virtual screen.
Play For Dream aims to expand its global network and partner with innovative companies to explore new uses for MR.
