The SteamOS beta is coming to several handheld PCs
, by Thibaut
CES gave us the chance to see the Lenovo Legion GO. This new handheld PC, due out next May, is the first outside Valve's Steam Deck to feature SteamOS, though it won't be the last.
In fact, before the launch of the Legion Go S, Valve has decided to roll out a beta version of SteamOS for other portables. It's up to the users to test it. This is indeed the same OS as the Steam Deck.
SteamOS aims to offer the complete Steam package on a variety of devices, and comes with access to the game library, the cloud, chat and game registration. This operating system brings an optimized console-like experience to be used with a controller.
