LG announces its G5 OLED TVs with refresh rates of up to 165 Hz for gaming

LG took advantage of CES 2025 to announce its new G5 range of OLED TVs. These come with a real revolution, as these models feature the latest Brightness Booster Ultimate tech, improving light control and introducing advanced algorithms for brightness up to three times greater than that of traditional OLED models.
The G5s come in a vast array of sizes, from 48 to 97 inches. However, performance varies from model to model: some have maximum brightness and offer refresh rates of up to 165 Hz for max fluitidity.
The two top-of-the-line models are equipped with the latest Alpha 11 Gen 2 processor, which optimizes image processing and scaling, making low-bitrate content look better on a 4K screen. Last but not least, LG has introduced a new Magic remote with a host of AI features.
