A box shot of the MSI RTX 5080 Gaming Trio has leaked ahead of an official announcement, be it from MSI or NVIDIA.
The leak reveals an OC edition coming with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory and a 256-bit memory bus. The GPU also comes with a new design, even though this one isn't such a big step forward when compared to its bigger sibling.
The box also confirms the presence of three DisplayPort entries and one HDMI port. Furthermore, the RTX 5080 has a 2.5 slot format with three fans, as well as a GB203-400 GPU with 10,752 CUDA cores.
NVIDIA is expected to announce the RTX 5080 at CES 2025, which will be taking place in just a few days' time. As a result, some units already appear to be on their way to retailers, which explains all these photos.
