LG impresses left and right with its new UltraGear GX9 range featuring major technical advances. But even among these, the 45GX990A model stands out as the world's first 5K2K foldable OLED display.
At 56 inches, this screen can go from a flat screen to a 900R curvature in seconds, so you can personalize your gaming experience at will. This flexibility allows users to adapt the screen to their preferences and type of play.
LG has also introduced an enhanced Dual-Mode functionality, allowing for an easy switch between different resolution and refresh rate presets, as well as changing image format and size. All this is accompanied by an ultra-fast response time of 0.03 ms (GtG), offering great fluidity. Last but not least, its 21:9 aspect ratio and 5120x2160 resolution make it a high-end solution for the most demanding of gamers.
All that remains is to find out its price and release date. We look forward to learning more at CES 2025, where we'll learn more about this display, which has already won three innovation awards.
