A leaker reveals new info on AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT
, by Quentin
Leaker Zhangzhonghao, usually very reliable when it comes to his information on the Chiphell website, is back at it again with AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT.
He claims that AMD's new GPU will have a base frequency of 2.8 GHz, reaching up to 3.1 GHz wheen boosted. The TDP would be of around 260W with custom models of up to 330 W..
That would put it somewhere between the RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti in terms of power consumption. As for performance, the leaker explains that it will be around 5% below that of the RTX 4080 in gaming, without providing any more data.
Of course, it's better to take this with a grain of salt until AMD says anything on the subject.
