As we wait for the third Sonic movie to come to European cinemas this Wednesday, December 25, we learn that the Sonic 2 movie was supposed to feature yet another character from the license.
Indeed, in an interview with IGN, screenwriters Pat Casey and Josh Miller said that Big the Cat was due to appear in the second film, but that he was dropped from the story at the last minute because "it didn't make any sense".
