, by Quentin
This year, the Game Awards celebrated their tenth anniversary with a remarkable evening, filled to the brim with exceptional announcements and quite a few surprises.
Here are the 10 games that left the biggest impression on us at the conference.
1 The Witcher 4
Release date unknown. On PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
After a legendary third entry, which has gone on to become a staple of the genre, CD Projekt has the tough task of making a new entry in The Witcher series.
2 Elden Ring Nightreign
Scheduled for release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Elden Ring continues to grow with a standalone, cooperative title set in a parallel world from the original.
3. Borderlands 4
Scheduled for release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
After a third entry that didn't quite manage to bring all fans of the IP together, Gearbox Software has the tough mission to reassure them and show that the series still has a bright future ahead of it.
4. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet
Release date unknown. Planned for PS5.
One thing's clear: when Naughty Dog makes an announcement, it's always a big moment for the industry. And it's even bigger when we're talking about a new IP that we know nothing about.
5 [Mafia: The Old Country]((https://www.instant-gaming.com/en/5963-buy-steam-mafia-the-old-country-pc-jeu-steam)
Scheduled for summer 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Even though Mafia 3 didn't quite manage to please both gamers and the specialized press, the IP remains as healthy and popular as ever. It's always exciting to see the franchise back with a new entry.
6 Split Fiction
Scheduled for release on March 6, 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
After creating a bona fide hit with It Takes Two, Hazelight is back with yet another coop experience, Split Fiction. The game seems to be a fast-paced adventure through quite some beautiful environments.
7 Turok: Origins
Release date unknown. On PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Turok was a big phenomenon back in the day, before gradually disappearing from the radar and ended up being forgotten. Saber Interactive is making a big gamble by resurrecting the series and retelling its story.
8. The Outer Worlds 2
Scheduled for release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
After a great first entry, we can't wait to lay our hands on the sequel to The Outer Worlds and see what the license has in store for us, especially given that Obsidian has been working on it for many years now.
9 Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Scheduled for release in 2026 on PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
If there's one industry figure that has managed to win over gamers and stand out in these last years, it's Capcom. Now, the company has managed to thrill thousands of fans around the world with the return of Onimusha.
10. Okami Sequel
Release date unknown. Exact platforms still to be announced.
While the first game was a true masterpiece, it didn't manage to set the charts on fire. That's we had given all holpe regarding a sequel.. But, miraculously, Capcom has announced a new adventure in the works. Quite a gamble that we can't help to applaud.
