The sequel to Tiny Tina's Wonderlands hasn't been cancelled after all
, by Thibaut
Released in June 2022, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was a commercial and critical success. The game sold pretty well, exceeding Gearbox's expectations even. So much so that, in fact, there were rumors of a sequel.
However, this week we got another rumor. The MP1st website reported that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 2 was cancelled following a "soft reboot" of development earlier this year, as well as the layoffs at Lost Boys Interactive, the studio that collaborated on the development of the first entry, and the takeover of Gearbox Software by Take-Two.
But there's a new turn of events: an anonymous employee at 2K Games has confirmed that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 2 is still in active development. We have no further details at the moment.
