Warner Bros. Games Montreal (Gotham Knights) cuts 99 job positions

Now that we have put the Game Awards 2024 behind us, the video game industry can go back to its bad habits.
Warner Bros. Games Montreal is cutting more jobs. A total of 99 positions have been deleted. These redundancies mainly affect subcontractors and QA testers. Those concerned were reportedly contacted on Monday to take part in a videoconference during which they were fired.
They could then apply for help in finding a new job, or be placed on a waiting list to be rehired at a later date. However, these new hires won't take place until 2026 at the earliest.
Warner Bros. Games Montreal was recently assisting Rocksteady with seasonal content for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
