Nintendo is now the sole owner of Monolith Soft (Xenoblade)
, by Thibaut
While Monolith Soft was initially funded by Bandai Namco, it wasn't too long before it joined forces with Nintendo for Xenoblade.
Back in 2007, the Japanese company acquired 80% of the company's shares, and then increased its stake to 96% in 2011. The remaining 4% was kept by the studio's founders.
Today, we learn that Nintendo now owns 100% of Monolith. It's clearly displayed at the studio's official website. That said, we don't know when this has exactly happened.
