Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will get patched for the PS5 Pro on December 12

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora got patched for the PS5 Pro in late November, but it suffers from some big technical problems on Sony's new machine.
That's why Ubisoft is planning to roll out a quick hotfix this Thursday, December 12. Players will get to deactivate PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) at will, which is currently causing some major problems. The game will use the same upscaling technology as on the base PS5.
The 60 FPS PS5 Pro mode will still be available, but you'll get to choose between a Performance mode at 60 FPS and Quality mode at 30 FPS. That said, Ubisoft will keep working to improve the PS5 Pro mode with PSSR.
