PlayStation CEO believes AI will revolutionize gaming, but that it can't replace developers

During an interview with the BBC, Hermen Hulst, co-CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, was asked about the use of AI in game development.
"I suspect there will be a dual demand in gaming: one for AI-driven innovative experiences and another for handcrafted, thoughtful content. Striking the right balance between leveraging AI and preserving the human touch will be crucial."
While PlayStation will keep using artificial intelligence to good use, the Japanese company will keep working "the old way".
