PS5 menus get a special look to celebrate 30 years of PlayStation
, by Thibaut
Here's a bit of a surprise: Sony has launched a smaull update for the PS5. When rebooting the console, we are treated to a healthy dose of nostalgia.
The PS5's new start-up screen features the sound and style of Sony's very first machine. In the settings, there's a new "PlayStation's 30th anniversary" menu that lets you select the appearance and sounds of the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4. It's up to the player to choose to better suit your tastes.
Note that these customization elements are only available for a limited time.
