Is Samsung about to surpass LG with an even better OLED panel? That's what some South Korean media outlets are reporting.
It seems Samsung has developed a QD-OLED display with a 500 Hz refresh rate on a 27-inch panel with QHD (2560x1440) resolution.
However, the company has yet to make an official announcement. This information comes from industry sources, and we'll have to wait for an official statement from Samsung to know if this is indeed true.
