Humanoid Origin, the new studio from the Mass Effect director, is already closing its doors

Here's a sad, sad ending for Humanoid Origin. Founded back in June 2021 by Casey Hudson, director of the Mass Effect trilogy, the studio will finally close its doors without even releasing a single game.
On LinkedIn, Hudson spoke of the problems with the company's financing.
"We’re heartbroken that we will not be able to bring our new science-fiction universe to completion. Our main concern at this time however is for our team, and we are committed to supporting them in their transition to new employment."

Humanoid Origin was working on a AAA narrative game set in a sci-fi universe.
