Koei Tecmo wants to focus on AAA and will double its workforce

While the video game industry is not in the best of health, with plenty of companies laying off part of its staff, Koei Tecmo has decided to go in a different direction.
The Japanese publisher behind Dynasty Warriors, Nioh and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has decided to double its workforce from 2,500 to 5,000, with a new in-house team dedicated to the development of AAA games.
Finally, the Japanese company intends to focus on the console/PC market, while lowering its expectations for the mobile market.
