While we've had no news of Star Wars Eclipse since it was announced in December 2021, the project has already lost its head writer.
Adam Williams has left Quantic Dream after almost 10 years of loyal service. During this time, he also wrote the screenplay for Detroit: Become Human. Williams recently founded a new company named Republic Games.
The creator has managed to secure funding from Krafton with the aim of developing an RPG that will deal mature themes with fantasy elements.
” A tyrannical regime brutally imposes its ideology and crushes all dissidence. But a faction of rebels seeks to overthrow the tyrants and expose the lies at the heart of their doctrine. All this political drama is imbued with supernatural elements that lurk beneath the surface, to make it something timeless, yet socially resonant. »
Williams aims for his game to offer real freedom to the player, whether in terms of progression, story or exploration.
