NVIDIA to switch to production of GeForce RTX 50 series
, by Quentin
According to information from Board Channels, NVIDIA is concentrating its entire production capacity on the next GeForce RTX 50 GPUs.
Although no official information has yet been confirmed, it would appear that all efforts are now focused on this eagerly-awaited new series of graphics cards, with a launch scheduled for early 2025. Supposed launch dates for NVIDIA's RTX 50s are as follows:
- RTX 5090/5090D/5080: January 2025
- RTX 5070/5070Ti: February 2025
- RTX 5060/5060Ti: March 2025
According to another rumour, NVIDIA has stopped production line AD106 in order to reallocate as many resources as possible to RTX 50 series production, keeping only line AD107 in operation. It is therefore likely that the RTX 40 will enter its final quarter of availability, with a gradual halt to production and supply for mid-range and high-end models.
