Microsoft's gaming revenue has incresed, thanks to Activision Blizzard

The American multinational has studied the financial results obtained during the quarter that ended on September 30, 2024, and needless to say that the numbres are quite positive.

During this past year, Microsoft's gaming revenue is up by 43%. A completely understandable increase thanks to their acquisition of Activision Blizzard. In terms of hardware, there was a 29% drop compared to the previous year, although it's nothing to worry about, since the income linked to the “content and services” section increased by 61%.

Unsurprisingly, Activision has contributed greatly to the success of Microsoft Gaming thanks to titles such as "Call of Duty", "World of Warcraft" and "Diablo".

Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, declared that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6" achieved [the best start in the history of the saga] (https://news.instant-gaming.com/en/articles/9067-call-of-duty-black-ops-6-had-the-best-start-in-the-history-of-the-saga). Whether in terms of new Game Pass subscribers or unit sales on PlayStation and Steam, the latest installment was an absolute success!
