The PS5 Slim covers will not be fully compatible with the PS5 Pro
, by Thibaut
In addition to its very discouraging price, the PS5 Pro seems to have another unpleasant surprise for its future owners. On Reddit, a user who claims to have access to the console noticed an incompatibility.
That's right, the covers designed for the PS5 Slim seem to not be completely compatible with the PS5 Pro. If the bottom case fits without a problem, the same cannot be said for top one. The issue is the teeth that join the case to the console, which would be placed differently. Therefore, it is impossible to adjust them.
Sony later confirmed this information on IGN. The manufacturer, however, added that “players will be able to swap out different console covers for PS5 Pro when they become available in the future.” Therefore, the brand will soon put cases on sale designed for its latest console.
