Age of Empires IV celebrated its third anniversary this October 2024, and to mark the occasion, World's Edge studio thanked its players and made a modest announcement.

We finally know when the eight season of Age of Empires IV is coming to Xbox and PC. We'll get to enjoy it from July 18. It comes with the Socotra map, a mini-event called Summer Sigths and the return of Map Monsters. Of course, some balancing adjustments will be made and bugs fixed.
